 Rules

 

There are a few rules that users of Pennwood must follow.  Please read these carefully.  If you have any queries, or require any further information then please do not hesitate to contact us

 

 

 General rules for all users of

 Pennwood

Users of all parts of Pennwood must follow these basic rules
  • Use of the facilities is restricted to the members of the booked party.  
  • Wood must not be gathered from the surrounding woodland.  

  • All cooking on open fires must be on altar fires. Fires may not be lit on the ground (apart from in the designated camp fire circle).  

  • Pits must NOT be dug on the site

  • There is no refuse collection from the site, so please take rubbish away with you (or take it to a local re-cycling centre)

  • There is a car park situated adjacent to The Cabin. Vehicles are not permitted on the camping areas.  

  • The key must be returned promptly at the end of your stay

 

 Additional rules for users of 

 The Cabin

  • No smoking is permitted in the building.

  • The leader must ensure that everyone in their group understands the evacuation procedure for leaving The Cabin in the case of an emergency.

  • Damage and any breakages must be reported to the key holder. Repairs/replacements will be charged for.  An invoice will be raised and forwarded to the Leader in charge of the party concerned.

  • No pets are allowed inside the building.

  • The Cabin must be cleaned before departure, a cleaning schedule is issued to all groups using the centre to provide guidance as to what is expected.
