Pennwood Scouting Centre is situated on the Cotswold Escarpment about three miles South of Stroud and three miles North of Nailsworth
On Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 Sheet 162 the site is at grid reference 819,024. |

Travelling by road |

From the M5 junction 13 follow the A419 signed Stroud. On reaching the end of the by-pass at the Sainsbury’s roundabout turn right on the B4066 signed Selsley and Uley. From the East approach Stroud via the A419, follow the signs for M5. You pass Sainsbury’s on your left, at the next roundabout turn left, on the B4066 signed Selsley and Uley. From the Sainsbury's roundabout follow
the B4066 up a steep and sometimes narrow hill. Cross the cattle grid, go over open
common land and over a further cattle grid. After this second cattle grid, the second entrance on the
right (approx 600m), is the access to Pennwood Scouting Centre. |
